Rough translation and summary: An aggressive 12-Kilo (that's about 26 pound) Central American snapping turtle wreaked havoc in Duisburg on Tuesday, attacking pedestrians and the folks who were trying to catch it. Police say that they're pretty sure they can identify the owner from the bite wounds alone. It's been illegal to sell, import or breed animals like this here since 1999.

I wonder why it didn't hop on the next plane heading home if it was so sick of all those disgusting Germans with their non sanitized hands, their shadeles windows and their inedible food.
Or was it held back by an expensive visit to the vet's office that was due but which it knew it could never afford over in central America?
Shadeless windows?? Isn't a window shade something you can buy at IKEA?
